Purpose

The Calculator app is your handy tool for quick calculations, whether you need to add, subtract, multiply or divide numbers.

How to Access

  1. From the Main Menu, use the Up/Down arrows to find Calculator.
  2. Press Enter to open Calculator.

Navigation & Controls

  • Number Keys: Enter numbers directly.
  • Plus (+), Minus (-), Multiply (*), Divide (/): Perform basic arithmetic operations.
  • Backspace: Delete the last entered number or operation.
  • Up/Down Arrows: Move through the calculator buttons.
  • Enter: Select a button or perform an operation.
  • Escape: Exit Calculator.

Using Calculator

  • Entering Numbers: Use the number keys on your keyboard to input numbers. You can enter multiple digits and decimals.
  • Selecting Operations: Use the operation keys on your keyboard (+, -, *, /) to choose the calculation you want to perform.
  • Performing Calculations: Type the first number, then type an operation, type the second number, and press Enter for the result.
  • Clearing Input: Press Backspace to delete the last entered number or operation.
  • Exiting Calculator: Press Escape to close the Calculator app and return to the Main Menu.
