This tool does not require an account. Accessibyte records tool usage to improve its accessibility tools. This is a notification about our custom usage analytics, not a request to enable them.
Usage analytics
Our v2 analytics record visits, deliberately selected tabs, control interactions, test starts and completions, mode transitions, and active time. Default tab views are recorded separately from intentional use. Time pauses when the page is hidden, unfocused, or inactive; sessions expire after 30 minutes without interaction.
A random browser identifier links visits from the same browser. Events also include a session identifier and timestamp. These identifiers are not your name, but events are not completely anonymous because visits can be linked. Events are sent to Accessibyte's server. Passage text, typed text, voice names, control values, and individual assessment scores are not included in these custom analytics events.
Storage and security
Your browser stores the identifier, popup display preferences, cached app files for offline use, and a local usage-event history for up to 30 days. Server logs store usage events, browser information, and a hashed IP address. Server rate limiting also uses IP addresses.
Reading test settings and results remain in the page during your visit. Printed results are created only when you request them.

Browser data
You can clear this site's browser data in your browser settings. This removes the local identifier, history, preferences, and app cache, but does not delete existing server records or prevent a new identifier being created on a later visit. We do not provide an in-tool opt-out for Accessibyte's custom usage analytics.
